DMA Welcomes Daniel Ring, MPAS, PA-C

Dickson Medical Associates is pleased to welcome Daniel Ring, MPAS, PA-C.  Daniel will be attending patients at the Walk-In Clinic at Crestview during the week, and every other weekend at the South location.

Daniel Ring graduated cum laude from Williams Baptist University in Northeast Arkansas in 2012 with his Bachelor of Science in Biology. In preparation for physician assistant school, Daniel spent two years working as a patient care technician in the emergency department at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Northeast Arkansas and the Orthopedic clinic at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2017 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He comes to Dickson Medical Associates with over a year’s worth of experience as a certified physician assistant in primary care focusing on pediatrics and internal medicine. Daniel is licensed by both the Tennessee and Arkansas Medical Boards, and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Daniel is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Daniel is passionate about helping people and has displayed this from a very early age. His philosophy is to provide all patients with the same level of care he would provide for his own family. He strives to educate patients in best health practices, so that illnesses and injuries may ultimately be prevented. In the words of Daniel, “I desire to listen to the patient first. The patient is the most vital part of the medical team. The job of the clinician is to provide the patient with all of the necessary information to make the most informed decision regarding his or her health.”

Daniel is an Arkansas native but spent much of his childhood in LaVergne, Tennessee. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Lauren and his son David, who bring him much joy and purpose. Daniel and his family love to go on outings when they can, and plan to explore much of what Tennessee has to offer. Daniel also enjoys working with his hands, which is evident in his hobbies of knitting and crocheting, drawing and painting, and building things. He is a true fan of Lego, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and all things superhero.
