Stephanie Southall, FNP-C

Joining DMA in 2018, Stephanie Southhall provides extended care for cardiac patients with Dr. Ehab Kasasbeh.  She received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Jackson State Community College in 2012 and began her nursing career at Horizon Medical Center, working in the Cardiac Cath Lab.  She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee-Martin in 2014, while continuing to work at Horizon.  Although she enjoyed her nursing profession, in 2016 she chose to pursue an opportunity for greater career achievement and received her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018.

Mrs. Southall became inspired to pursue a career in nursing because of her mother who is also a nurse. Her philosophy in caring for patients is to provide the best care available in Dickson and surrounding counties. She wants to give the same care and attention to her patients that she would want for her own family members. Thanks to her experience in the cath lab, Southall felt drawn to helping people in their time of need with cardiac issues and chose cardiology as her main specialty.

Outside of work, Southall enjoys cheering on the University of Tennessee Volunteers during football season and spends the warmer months tending her garden and playing with her dogs.
