  • Cold and flu symptoms
  • Fever
  • Minor breaks and sprains
  • Infections
  • Minor cuts and burns
  • Insect bites
  • Diarrhea and vomiting and rashes
  • Dislocations
  • Moderate pain

What to Do
Call the main business number of the Dickson Medical Associates where you see your doctor for instructions.

You may be offered a same-day appointment with a physician or a NP/PA. You may also be instructed to go to one of Dickson Medical Associates Express Care locations.

Please use Dickson Medical Associates Express Care services instead of the emergency room for your non-emergent care.  Many health insurance plans have a much higher co-payment at emergency rooms.

After-hours
If you or your child becomes ill after hours and you cannot wait until your provider’s office opens, the on-call nurse or provider is available. They will assess your needs and help you determine your care options.
